CAN Tanzania is a national non-governmental and non-profit think and do tank organization established in 2011.

With more than 12 years of experience, CAN Tanzania works to inform, mobilize, advocate, and empower community to collectively take smarter actions toward a climate-resilient and sustainable ecosystem that is thriving now and into the future.

CAN Tanzania is in the process of recruiting a team for its anticipated Jamii Stahimilivu (A Resilient Society) Project to be implemented in Arusha and Manyara regions targeting smallholder’s pastoral, agro-pastoral, and hunter-gatherers’ communities. Jamii Stahimilivu offers an alternative approach to building climate-resilient communities through locally-led and women-led climate adaptation solutions.

These positions (see below) are conditional on funding availability and donor approval. Most of our staff will be based in Arusha and Manyara.
