ABOUT CAN TANZANIA SCHOLARSHIP

The Climate Action Network (CAN) Tanzania is pleased to announce 35 merit and need-based scholarships for the academic year 2024/2025; 10 Scholarships for Master, 10 for Bachelor and 15 for Diploma programmes. The scholarship aims to provide financial support to students in need who demonstrate academic excellence and have leadership potential to support community transformation.

QN: Do I need a College or University Admission during the application process?

ANS: Yes, the scholarship is offered to candidates who are already admitted in the academic year 2024/2025 to an appropriate programme in the field areas of interest (mentioned in the application guideline) at an institution accredited in Tanzania.

QN: If I am a continuing student, can I apply for the scholarship?

ANS: Yes, students admitted in previous academic years to an appropriate programme in the field areas of interest (mentioned in the application guideline) can apply for the scholarship with special justification.

QN: Why is my region of residence not included?

ANS: Due to limited slots of the offer.

QN: Can I apply for a college/university outside of Tanzania or Africa?

ANS: No.
