Climate change impacts everything. To minimize loss and damages caused by climate change and to adapt to the risks learning about the effects of climate change on each sector is elementary. The first step for decision-making and adaptation activities is solid first-hand information. Therefore we took the British Ambassador David Conar to a field visit to show him together with Morogoro District Commissioner Hon Albert Msando how the climate change impact water power. Engineers from MOROWASA explained at Mindu Dam how prolonged drought, changing and unpredictable rain patterns threaten lager water power and supply infrastructures as the Mindu Dam. We will continue to raise awareness for the impacts of climate change in order to mobilize all important stakeholders for enhanced climate action.
