CAN Tanzania is addressing deforestation and forest degradation through the PRO-NDC-ACT initiative, which aims to restore degraded forests in Vumari Forest Reserve and Kwasinge Forest, as well as mangrove forests in Msaraza. The focus is on reversing environmental damage, conserving biodiversity, and enhancing ecosystem services while supporting climate resilience and sustainable development in the region.
