Following its participation in a project of CAN TZ as a network member in Chalinze district, the landmark Sociak Services Organization of Tanzania (LASSOT) has directly up-scaled some project activities into the livelihoods of smallholder farmers. LASSOT has the program of training farmers on environmental restoration as the mechanism to lessen the impacts of climate change on their livelihoods. Smallholder farmers have been trained and guided on agroforestry practices which increases produce. However, LASSOT faces the challenge of resources to reach more targeted smallholders.
